I can't really do timeline shit, so lemme do some numbers shit:

1. So I loved staying in the hotel. I had great roommates: rm and foxay.

2. The suggestion that we drunk dial who_anon is the funniest thing evar. I might have also gone on

sizeofthatthing and suggested some fics.

3. Foxy actually has my con report right here: because we were together a lot. And drunk quite a bit.

4. I DID MANAGE TO LISTEN TO AARON ALLSTON TALK, and the man is awesome, and blind as a bat. He had great advice on the market and behaviour.

5. OBLIGATORY PEOPLE WOT I MET AND HUNG OUT WITH THING:

7. NOW ON TO THE THINGS YOU WANTED TO SEE. I took pics as I thought things were cool, so some of them are blurry and some of them are for specific people.

I really wish my camera setting skills were better and that I had the balls to ask people for photos. As it was I snapped this quickly in a flurry before he would move, because he had the most incredible blue eyes. IT WAS LIKE ALL STAR SUPES CAME TO LIFE:

This poor little therapy dog made me lol because he jumped into the flower beds when his handler was trying to have a smoke. She kept yelling at him, but he just ate some grass and then plunked down in the bed to chill:

The steampunk was also kind of out of control. Steam punk is to Dragon*Con this year what Naruto and Inuyasha were to every anime con from 2003 to present. But this dude just has a bicycle. I did not get him to ride it, but I would have paid good money to see it.

8. I will say that some of the people I met this time around and talked to taught me some things I needed to hear about dealing with other, especially on the internet. The way that they approach issues and fights and disagreements in RL and online when we talked about it, and also about old issues and wanks and things, taught me about stepping back, and thinking twice, and in general not taking everything so goddamn personal. Someone doesn't like my story? That's cool. And it doesn't mean that the story isn't good actually.

I dunno why this stuff bothers me more with fanfic and never with orig fic.

9. Also, I think I managed to eat a caesar salad EVERY DAY I WAS THERE. There was even a deconstructed one at sear, and I almost wanted to hold a Judges table and discuss it with the chef. "Chef, please pack your knives and go." No really, it was good.

10. DALEK BLECK BIDS YOU ADIEU.

That was my big fat D*C exp. Seriously, few panels, lots of booze, tonnes of food, great people, EXCELLENT CONVERSATIONS, and a renewed sense of writing. I WILL WRITE THAT FPREG. IT WILL BE AWESOME.

OH AND I THINK I MIGHT HAVE A SEASON TO AIR THIS FALL.

BUT FOR NOW, my dad is out of surgery, and I'm waiting to hear how he is, and I have plans to make biscotti with cabernet cocoa powder, and possibly some cupcakes.

I dreamt about biscotti last night.

I made a list of shit to do divided by pages: on page per category, house, work, online, general, errands, etc. IT'S NINE PAGES LONG.
