her: What are snaps?
me: Little paper balls you throw on the ground and they go, "OH SNAP."
her: Yeah that's awesome.
me: Should we get worms?
her: Nooooooo.
me: Should we get a buttfor?
her: No.
me: You're supposed to ask me, "what's a buttfor?" and then I'm supposed to say, "for pooping!"
her: I don't want to do that.

You are such an awesome mom. She have any cool math programs for the computer? They were just starting to come out when my kids were little. Math Munchers was their favorite and I swear did tons and tons to make both at-ease with math. Word Munchers too. Kelly couldn't talk, but he could do math!

My kids are 25 and 23...I long for the day one of them makes me a granny so I can have really clever conversations too! For now I'll make do with my friends three-year old who's a blast to talk to as she is bilingual and you never know which language will be the one she answers in..Dutch or English.
We can have serious discussions going whether the rabbit on her t-shirt is Miffy or Nijntje..and the little girl has some strong opinions about these things, i tell ya!(Ah..do I need to tell ya...?)
