So. Alice: reVisions from Candlemark & Gleam is a go. In fact, you can even pre-order it on Barnes & Noble. I haven't had a chance to read the other three Alice stories yet, but they sound fantastic, and one of them is by CA Young, so you know it's gonna be excellent. Amanda's Frabjous Rabbithole Writing...Thing So in celebration of this thing, I have all these promotional cards. They are lovely. But I have run out of people to hand them to. SO. I was thinking.

A dangerous thing, I know.

For a few weeks, here is what I propose:

3. 500 word original fic. You provide either the first or last sentence.

i'm so confused about the promotional cards!!! i want one. but i have no idea what it is. is it like a notecard? will you send me one sans cookies? i have way too many leftover cupcakes that i work through, i cannot handle more (my waistline can't -- i need new pants, and they better not be a larger size, i'm so frustrated, i have to sample all the cupcakes and ugh!).

does the promotional card say when i can buy the book? b/c i want to buy the book. and, lol, i already have CA Young's zombie poetry contribution book.

The promotion cards are like adverts! They have that lovely pic on the front and our bluers on the back. According to B&N, you can get the book starting October 6, but I would just stick with October as the release date.

I would send you a card and a short story, sans cookies if you like!
