My orig fic is even less interesting, as I title the files by thr day I starte them, so they're all things like, NOVEMBER24 and JANUARY10.

ALSO, IN LIGHT OF THE MOST RECENT TWS4 CASTING SPOILER, I WOULD JUST LIKE TO POINT OUT THAT I WROTE THIS BIT IN NOVEMBER OF 2010:

"You found Doctor Schmidt?" Jack asked.

Dee made a strange face and spread her hands. "Some of him."

Maggie clutched her mug in both hands and Jack wondered if she was going to faint or puke. She was a delicate snowflake when it came to human carcasses, this one, and wasn't that perfectly all right? Normal? Reassuring?

"Some," Lois said slowly.

Dee glanced over her shoulder at the eyrie door, firmly shut behind her, and then turned back to them. "Did you ever see that scene in Jurassic Park where the computer programmer gets stuck in the mud on the way to the ferry, and then he tries to winch himself out, but he runs into those spitting dinosaurs—"

"Short version, Dee," Jack snapped.

"Myfanwy ate him," Dee finished.

Lois darted towards the eyrie windows and pressed her face to the glass. Jack was right behind her. "No way," she whispered into the foggy window.

Jack tried to see into the eyrie, but the greenery was lush and provided a spotty view. "I told him to feed her," he mumbled. "But he didn't believe me." He turned back to Dee. "Are you sure it's...?"

Dee held something up pinched between her thumb and index finger, and it swung in the light under her hand. Daniel's watch. A little dirty and painted with something rust-coloured.

"Ah. Yes."
