If...if I were to try to vid, what program should I use? I ask because my internets searching is inconclusive.

You know, for myself. No one will ever see it, I'm sure because I suck heartily.

Woah. Just looking at that page makes my brain hurt. I want to vid so badly. I have PICTURES AND SOUND IN MY HEAD AND THEY MUST COME OUT, PREFERABLY TO LIZ PHAIR.

And yet. So many words. Gah.

I shall have to peruse this page further. I have Premier. Does that count?

Sony Vegas is what I learned to vid on (and a cracked version I didn't pay for *cough*) - it's so very intuitive, really. Doesn't fuck around like Windows Movie Maker does. I think there's a basic version of Vegas that's actually quite affordable, too!

I'm not familiar with Premier!

If it is affordable, I might shell out for it, just because then at least I'll follow through (because I'll be like, 'well, you PAID for it, so you better damn well use it'). I think I tried to do something in moviemaker once and it was all, 'uh, no bitch.'

So many decisions! My heart is all aflutter! Srsly, I have been talking about vidding since 2004.

Yeah, there is always that! I seriously wish they made it for Macs, because I have not the patience to learn Final Cut Pro (which is apparently totally awesome, and I have a pirated copy of and everything!).

Just dug out this post which has a couple of screencaps of how it works...? Not a very practical how-to post or anything, though.

vidding might have some posts about Vegas, though.
