amand_r...deep in debate up in play at Bennigan's, Tianyu and I started lamenting the career of Christopher Lambert. The conversation topic went as follows:
1. Lionel Richie's "Say You, Say Me" is on the overhead speakers.
2. Tianyu thinks of Gregory Heines and Michael Baryshnikov in "White Knights".
3. Amand-r thinks he means "Knight Moves", a film starring Christopher Lambert.
4. Tianyu has not seen it.
5. Amand-r talks about how the film has the Lambert pre-requisite full frontal sex scene with a blonde woman, complete with protruding breasts/arching back/buttock caressing.
6. Tianyu gets that far away look and says "Yeaaaaaaaah," in a quiet voice.
7. Violence ensues.
8. Amand-r promises to rent it from NetFlix.
9. Tianyu talks about how great CL was as Raiden and does all Raiden lines from Mortal Combat.
10. Amand-r mentions "Druid", the last film they saw with CL, and how bad it was.
11. Commiseration and sadness on all sides.
12. More CL impersonation, including the required Highlander lines, complete with Director's Cut scenes.
13. Amand-r wonders at how hard it is to do CL accents, because he sounds like no nationality she has ever known. (The seed is planted.)

20. Argument ensues over casting Mei Ling. Tianyu argues Kelly Hu. Amand-r argues Zhang Ziyi.
21. Attention turns to casting "Vulcan Raven." Tianyu suggests The Rock, then recants because of body size, and changes vote to The Undertaker or Triple H. Amand-r reminds him that Vulcan was Inuit.
22. Tianyu says, "Oh yeah," and then:
Which actor do you think has played or can play the most variety of races/ethnicities out there?
We gave it some thought and came up with the following names, but we were stumped. The following were the best bets we could come up with: Ricardo Montalban, Lou Diamond Phillips, Erick Avari, Arnold Vosloo, or Sir Ben Kingsley.
As we have no ability to think of these things ourselves, we enlist your help.
