Cookies of the Week: Pizzelles, Puntions and Red Velvets

If you order more than one thing (or two of the same), take a dollar off your order.

Red Velvets: SOLD OUT

A recap of last time, but without the icing and with m9ore food colouring. These babies are moist and chocolately. And also red. Too bad I couldn’t make one in the shape of a giant armadillo.

Ingredients: unsweetened baker's chocolate, butter, brown sugar, white sugar, baking soda, salt, eggs, flour, red colouring, sour cream, semi sweet chocolate chips
Price: $7/dozen
Available: SOLD OUT

Pizzelles

'Nuff said.

Ingredients: butter, sugar, eggs, baking powder, vanilla/lemon extract+zest, flour
Price: $8/dozen
Available: 1 doz. Lemon, 1 DOZ vanilla/lemon mix

Punitions: SOLD OUT

In the words of the French bakery who makes (and trademarks them):

The ‘Punitions’ are small butter cookies made with wheat flour, butter, sugar and eggs. They’re perfect to nibble on with a cup of tea or coffee or to accompany a dessert. Where does their name come from? ‘Punition’ is French for ‘punishment’ and the name comes from a little game Pierre Poilâne’s grandmother used to play. She would call over her grandchildren seemingly to punish them and, instead, would open her palms to reveal a handful of butter cookies! (Poilâne)

Ingredients: butter, eggs, flour, sugar
Price: $6/dozen
Available: SOLD OUT

PAYMENT: If you want something, comment here! Then when I give the okay, paypal the fundage to amandr at gmail dot com.
