I am looking to write some narrative nonfiction, but I don't know what to write about. Any ideas? I just want to write to some prompts.

I know I called these Bavarian Peaches, but apparently I was wrong, and they're Austrian Peaches. Bavarian, Austrian, la la la. I know. It's all Mozart and pretzels in my head.

1 c sugar
¾ c vegetable oil
½ c milk
2 eggs
¾ tsp vanilla
3/12-4 c flour
¾ tsp baking powder

Preheat oven to 350.

In a large bowl, combine sugar, oil, eggs, baking powder and vanilla. Blend in enough flour to form a soft dough. Roll onto walnut sized balls and bake on ungreased cookie sheets15-20 minutes (cookies will be pale). Cool completely. Scrape out cookies gently by rotating the tip of a sharp knife against the flat side of the cookie, leaving a shell. Save the cookie crumbs. At this point, both cookies and crumbs can be frozen for up to four months. Just let them sit out overnight before filling.

2 c reserved cookie crumbs
½ c chopped nuts
2 tbsp instant tea powder
1 c apricot preserves
3 oz softened cream cheese
¾ tsp cinnamon

Peach or apricot brandy (I used schnapps)
Cherry and apricot Jell-O (I used peach Jell-O)

In a medium bowl, combine the ingredients. Mix until well blended. Fill cookies with filling. Press 2 cookies together to form a peach. Lightly dip whole cookie in brandy and dip one spot in cherry Jell-O for blush, then roll entire cookie in peach Jell-O.* If desired, insert a piece of cinnamon stick stem into the seam of each peach and make a green gumdrop leaf into a…a leaf. Let them sit overnight so the Jell-O can harden.

Recipe can be doubled. Makes about 3 dozen finished cookies. Apparently if you don't have brandy plain vodka would do as well.

*Put peach Jell-O in a zip lock bag. After blush is on the cookie, place it in the bag and shake. It will cover it and there is less to clean up.

I bought 4 peach Jell-O and one cherry, but I only used 2 peach boxes and I had leftover, so I made Jell-O. It's…not very wobbly.
